LIMITS
WILL BE LIFTED ON MONDAY, APRIL 8, 2013.
The
Ingham County Department of Transportation and Roads (ICDTR) announced today that seasonal
weight restrictions on county roads will be lifted at 6:00 a.m., Monday, April 8, 2013.
Once
seasonal weight restrictions are lifted, truck drivers can refer to their truck operator’s
maps for normal legal load limits for the various classes of roads, and for the various
reduced load posted bridges. Information
for surrounding counties can be accessed at www.micountyroads.org.
“We
appreciate the cooperation we’ve had from truckers in observing spring weight
restrictions this year,” said William Conklin, Managing Director for the Road
Department.
The
ICDTR is responsible for the repair, maintenance and traffic safety of more than 1,253
miles of roads throughout
