ROAD CLOSINGS
Holt Road - Will be closed on 04-28-08 until 06-20-08 for infrastructure improvements for the Delhi Township DDA project. The road will be closed west of Depot Street to +/- 500 feet east of Norfolk Railroad. The principal items of work consists of sanitary sewer construction (9000 feet of 8" - 24" sewer), storm drain construction (5400 feet of 12" - 36" sewer). Re-construction of 6100 feet of roadway (Holt Road, Depot Street, Keller Road, Delhi North East Street, and a small section of Pine Tree Road). Dewatering the entire site and construction of two detention ponds. There are seven different detours that will be used depending on the phase of the project. McCue Road - Between Onondaga Road and Grovenburg Road in section 20 of Delhi Twp. The road will be closed 04/14/08 thru 04/16/08 from 8:00am to 3:00pm due to Road Commission tree cutting operations. Traffic will be detoured north to Holt Road.
Van Atta Road - Between Jolly Road and Grand River Avenue (M-43) in section 25/36 of Meridian Township. The road will be closed Friday 04-25-08 from 7:30a.m. thru 3:30p.m. Road crew will be reducing the bridge deck over the Red Cedar River to one lane traffic. It will remain this way until we receive funds for replacement. Southbound traffic will be required to yield to northbound traffic. Traffic will be detoured east to Meridian Road for Friday only. The bridge weight limit will be as follows, 30T 35T 38T.
