Norman L. Gear
Norman Gear
serves as a Commissioner on the Board of Ingham County Road Commissioners. The Ingham County Road Commission is responsible for
the repair, maintenance and traffic safety of more than 1,249 miles of road
throughout Ingham County. The Board of Ingham County Road Commissioners
directs a $22 million-plus annual road maintenance and construction budget, and
supervises a staff of over 80 full-time
employees. Norman Gear is the Principal
of Gardner Middle School in the Lansing School District. He and his wife, Carmen, have been married
for 32 years and have a daughter who attends the University of Michigan.
