William M. Conklin
(Biography)
William (Bill) Conklin is the
Managing Director for the Ingham County Road Commission. The Ingham County Road Commission is
responsible for the repair, maintenance, and traffic safety for 1,247 miles of
roads throughout Ingham County.
Bill Conklin came to work for the
Ingham County Road Commission coming from the Oakland County Road Commission,
where he worked for 20 Years in various capacities, including road project
design, development and construction management. He most recently served for the past 7 years
as the head of their Design Division where he was responsible for overseeing
design and bid letting of Oakland County’s mainline road and bridge improvement
projects. Throughout this experience,
Bill has worked closely with affected citizens and local units of government to
obtain input and provide status on major projects - an effort he plans to
continue in Ingham County.
Bill and his wife Kim have two
children ages 11 and 13. They enjoy
attending their children’s sports events and activities.
