The Administrative Services Department, is responsible for support functions for the Road Commission. Three employees provide accounting services including preparing financial statements, making payments to contractors and suppliers, collecting payments due to the Road Commission, payroll, and preparing various reports including the Annual Act 51 Report to MDOT.
Human Resources and reception are
also part of the department. Recruitment and hiring of new employees,
employee benefits, labor relations, employee relations, policy development, workers compensation, and employee
record keeping are all part of the job duties.
The Road Commission’s computer
network, software systems and web pages are also the responsibility of this department.
