RESOLUTION #217-97 |
||
|
SUBJECT: REPLACEMENT
OF DRIVEWAYS AND WALKWAYS ON CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS |
||
|
Driveways
and walkways that are altered as a part of an Ingham County Road Commission
project will be replaced with the same material used to construct the original
facility. However, if the material is
not gravel, bituminous or concrete it shall be at the Road Commission’s
discretion as to what material will be used to replace the facility. The material used to construct the
driveway will abut either the roadway pavement or the paved shoulder as long
as that portion of the drive that is located in the shoulder of the road
follows the normal downward slope of the road shoulder. If the driveway does not follow the normal
slope of the shoulder, the hard surface material will end outside the road
shoulder. All walkways will end at
the back of curb or at the shoulder point.
No walkways will extend into the shoulder of the road. _____________________________________________________________________________ ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF INGHAM COUNTY ROAD COMMISSIONERS ON
